Perfect for small families and couples with dogs in tow, this one-bedroom lodge offers a wildlife-rich setting above Loch Rannoch, one of Scotland's most beautiful lochs. The accommodation is spread across one level, arranged around an open-plan living space with a balcony facing the water. The lodge forms part of the Loch Rannoch Highland Club, a 250-acre hillside estate with excellent on-site leisure facilities shared with other guests.
The welcoming open-plan living space forms the social heart of the lodge, comprising a well-appointed kitchen/diner and a restful lounge. The kitchen/diner features everything needed for a self-catered stay, including bar-style seating. The lounge invites you to play games and gather around the TV, with the sofa converting into a double bed for two guests. Here, sliding doors open onto a scenic private balcony. Adjacent to the living space is a bunk bedroom, perfect for little ones, and the family bathroom, with a shower over the bath, completes the interior. Outside, guests and pups are invited to explore the wider grounds. Parking is subject to availability in the shared car park.
The site sits close to scenic trails perfect for walking, cycling and water sports, with Tay Forest Park (0.5 miles) offering plenty of wildlife-spotting opportunities. Keep your eyes peeled for golden eagles, ospreys, red deer and otters. Kinloch Rannoch (0.5 miles) is a picturesque village known for its clean air and local pub and shop. Rannoch Station (16 miles) is the departure point for a scenic train ride to Mallaig on the West Highland Line.
