Pet-friendly holidays, accommodation & places to stay in Brighton

Brighton & Hove is a busy, happening, and inviting dog-friendly city on the East Sussex coast. With miles of seafront promenade to walk along with your furry four-legged companion, a stay at our dog-friendly cottages in Brighton is a superb pick. A large stretch of the pebble beach is dog-friendly all year-round with only a few areas enforcing restrictions. Brighton is close to many open spaces, including the South Downs just to the east of the town; it encompasses Brighton Racecourse too, a lovely place for your dog to stretch its legs. There are a few large parks in the city; these include The Level, Preston Park, Hollingdean Park, Withdean Park and Queens Park.

Brighton is an excellent place from which to explore the dog-friendly region of Sussex. Slightly further afield are the coastal settlements of Shoreham-by-Sea and Worthing. Both have long and peaceful beaches. With excellent facilities, and unobstructive restrictions on dog access and miles of sandy beach to run and play on, look no further than this spectacular spot.  You can also head further east to Beachy Head just outside Eastbourne: a lovely open spot but also home to England’s highest chalk cliffs so keep ‘Buster’ on a strong leash. The heights shouldn’t put you off coming for a visit here as it is one of the finest beauty spots on the South Coast.

We have some excellent dog-friendly places to stay in Brighton. Why not browse our collection of dog-friendly accommodation in Brighton above and let yourself become inspired to book a super dog-friendly holiday in the Brighton area?
