Property code: OC-BBKEME

A homely seaside property with a leafy front courtyard ideally situated by the shorefront in Kemp Town, this coastal hideaway is great for a small family or a couple seeking a retreat on the Sussex Coast with their four-pawed companion. Scamper along the Kemp Town Beach towards the Brighton Marina where playful pups can crash through the waves and sniff hello to the sun worshipers, then tuck into an al fresco lunch on the patio while Fido sunbathes by your side.

This welcoming home provides a comfortable interior with a feature arched window and a sociable open-plan layout. Grab a fluffy towel and dry off soggy paws then step into the lounge area where you can recline with a fresh brew and a sweet treat after a day by the sea. Potter in the compact kitchen and stock up the cabinets with lots of local goodies then treat your hungry hound to a well-earned supper. Whip up a hearty dinner or sniff out the best local takeaway, then crack open a bottle and dine at the wooden table while you flick through your doggy action shots from the day. Rest up in the well-presented bedrooms on the first floor, consisting of a bright double and a single. Early risers can perch in the courtyard with their morning coffee and catch some morning rays after blustering beachfront walkies.

Stroll along the shoreline to the bohemian hub of Brighton, 1 mile, and scope out the myriad of independent bistros and cafes offering mouth-watering brunches where well-behaved hounds are welcomed with fresh water, biscuits, and ear-scratches. Pack a picnic and feast in the impressive grounds of the Royal Pavilion, 2 miles, or escape the city and follow the coastal trail to Saltdean, 4 miles, to bound along the shingly, cliff-backed beach peppered with rockpools for a curious canine to explore.

Nice, clean and cozy cottage, wel equipped kitchen ware. Usually stay in Hove so not been to Kemptown before but found it to be another place to return to, close to beach but also close to the downs as we enjoy walking, so was ideal for us, bus service is excellent so car was not used at all during our stay.

Ideally located for a short break in Brighton with good access to the town, beach and countryside. Compact well equipped, fine for a group of three. Rare to have car parking in Brighton.

Being in a gated area made me feel very safe staying here on my own. The heating was really good so a safe and cosy stay that I extended twice as my relative was in the nearby hospital which was in easy walking distance. The bathroom could do with an update but everything worked. If using the car parking space then best to reverse in through the gaRead morete as quite tight otherwise. Hide

Small compact cottage, clean , comfortable and everything you need, secure parking was ideal. 5 minutes walk to the beach, pub 50 yards away, Lidl about 5 minutes walk away, could do with decor updating, and old TV with limited channels changing

The cottage is well-located and clean, and the interior is nice, cozy, and easy to keep clean. The parking placement is a big plus.
