Tintagel, 1 mile away, has a pub and a restaurant, plus the medieval Old Post Office with its cottage garden. Tintagel Castle (1.5 miles) sits in a striking coastal setting steeped in Arthurian stories, and King Arthur's legends are told in stained glass at the Great Halls.
