This two-bedroom lodge sits within a holiday park in the Cornwall National Landscape. It sleeps four and welcomes pets, making a peaceful countryside base for families or friends, with Tintagel and a sandy cove close by and a private hot tub waiting back at the lodge.
A few external steps lead up from ground level to the decked area surrounding the lodge. Inside, the open-plan living area is filled with natural light, with comfortable seating for four and a Smart TV in the lounge. The kitchen area sits opposite, alongside a dining space for sitting down to meals. The double bedroom and the twin bedroom, which has 2′6″ single beds, are connected by a Jack and Jill shower room with WC. The enclosed raised deck has garden furniture for dining alfresco, along with the private hot tub. Parking for one car is provided beside the lodge.
Across the road from the park, a footpath leads to Bossiney Cove (0.5 miles), where low tide reveals a sandy beach, rock pools, sea caves, and a waterfall. The route down includes steep cliff steps. A café and a shop are also 0.5 miles away. The historic town of Tintagel lies 1 mile along a flat route, its lively main street lined with cafés, bakeries, pubs, and gift shops, and King Arthur's Great Halls displays stained glass inspired by the legends of Camelot. Tintagel Castle (1.5 miles) is set dramatically above the sea, and St Nectan's Glen, a similar distance away, has woodland paths leading to a series of waterfalls. The slate-sided gorge of Rocky Valley is within easy reach, and Boscastle's historic harbour is 3 miles from the lodge.
