This pet-friendly two-bedroom lodge sits on a holiday park in North Cornwall's green countryside. It gives couples and small families with a dog in tow a restful seaside base, with a private hot tub on the deck and the beach 0.5 miles away. Tintagel lies 1 mile along a level route, so village life, coastal dog walkies and clifftop legend are close at hand.
The open-plan living space begins with the lounge, where dual-aspect windows and an apex ceiling bring in light and height, and comfortable seating faces a Smart TV. The kitchen is set opposite the dining area. Two bedrooms, a double and a twin with 2′6″ beds, are linked by a Jack and Jill shower room with WC. An enclosed, fenced, and raised deck wraps around the lodge, with garden furniture for dining alfresco and a private hot tub. Parking for one car is directly outside, and a gravelled path leads from the car to the deck.
Bossiney Cove is 0.5 miles away, reached by a path across the road. At low tide its rock pools and Elephant Rock appear, though steep steps lead down the cliff. A café and shop are also 0.5 miles away. Tintagel's main street (1 mile) has bakeries, pubs, and restaurants, and the Old Post Office, a medieval longhouse, stands in the heart of the village. The South West Coast Path runs 500 metres from the lodge and opens up to wide sea views. Waterfalls fill St Nectan's Glen (1.5 miles), and Tintagel Castle, equally close, brings Arthurian legend to a day out. Within easy reach, Boscastle has a historic harbour as well as the Museum of Witchcraft and Magic.
