This two-bedroom timber lodge sits within a holiday park 1 mile from Tintagel and makes an easy-going North Cornwall base for a family or two couples bringing their dog. Far-reaching views open out from the raised deck, and sandy coves, wooded valleys, and the coast path are all close by – perfect for four-legged exploration.
The open-plan living space has dual-aspect windows and an apex ceiling, which give the timber interior an alpine look. A sofa and Smart TV sit at one end, with the kitchen and a dining table seating four alongside. Sliding doors lead from the living area onto the deck, so Fido can grab some fresh air whenever he needs to. The double bedroom has its own Smart TV, and the twin bedroom has two 2′6″ single beds. Between them is a Jack and Jill shower room with a shower cubicle and WC. The spacious, enclosed, raised decked area has garden furniture for meals outdoors and takes in sprawling views. Private parking is provided for one car.
A cafe, a shop, and a sandy beach are all 0.5 miles away, and a pub and a restaurant are 1 mile away. When the tide is low, you can cross the sand from Bossiney Cove to neighbouring Benoath Cove. The National Trust walk at Rocky Valley (0.5 miles) follows the Trevillet River through woodland and a gorge of steep slate walls. You can get there by road or along the coast path, and a woodland path continues to the waterfalls of St Nectan's Glen. In Tintagel, the castle ruins at Tintagel Castle (1.5 miles) stand in a dramatic coastal setting. Further along the coast, Boscastle's harbour is 3 miles away, and Port Isaac is 11 miles away.
