Pet-friendly holidays and accommodation in St Agnes, Cornwall
Dog-friendly beaches, spectacular coastal paths and pet-friendly pubs; St Agnes is a tail-wagging treat for four-legged holidaymakers. Situated on the rugged north coast of Cornwall between the larger towns of St Ives and Newquay, this beautiful village is in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so there are plenty of opportunities for scenic walkies around coastal Cornwall from the doorsteps of our dog-friendly accommodation.
The glorious South West Coast Path winds its way straight through St Agnes and onwards into West Cornwall, and while Fido sniffs out some exciting new scents, you can soak up the breathtaking coastal views – you might even spot dolphins! St Agnes Beacon, which is owned by the National Trust, is another great place to enjoy a gentle stroll with canine chums and offers incredible panoramas of the iconic Cornish engine houses at Wheal Coates which are perched on the cliff edge.
When happy hounds want to feel the sand in their paws, there are four beaches in St Agnes which allow dogs. Chapel Porth and Porthtowan beaches have seasonal restrictions, while Trevellas Porth and Trevaunance Cove allow dogs all year round on leads. There’s a dog-friendly pub right next to Trevaunance Cove offering refreshing bowls of water and when tired pups can’t keep their eyes open any longer, let them curl up by the fire in one of our dog-friendly cottages in St Agnes.
