The shady Tarka Trail is a long-distance walking/cycling trail that is free of cars for much of its distance and worth a visit. Further afield is the viewpoint Codden Hill, Exmoor National Park, and the beaches of Croyde, Woolacombe and Saunton Sands, which are magnets for owners of active dogs staying at our North Devon cottages.
