This yurt offers a wonderful indoor-outdoor lifestyle, with a comfortable double bed, dining table and shelves all arranged around this magical circular space. There’s trellis-style wood supports up the ‘walls’ and wooden spokes supporting the pitched roof, adding character. You can sit around the wood burner in cooler weather or cool off outside in a hammock on the decked veranda or by the open fire at ground level. Each yurt also has a covered kitchen area to the side, leading from the veranda, plus its own private shower room and WC.

Note that it’s free to enter, but there is a small parking charge. Holt is 2 miles away, with its plethora of Georgian architecture, indie shops and galleries plus places to eat and drink. Take your pick of places to take the dog for a sandy run along the North Norfolk Coastline, with something for everyone. National Trust-owned Felbrigg Hall (10 miles) welcomes dogs in its extensive and impressive parklands. It’s easily reached en route to the famous seaside resort of Cromer (11.5 miles).
