Located on the top floor of a striking Edwardian townhouse, this stylish apartment enjoys sweeping views across the sea towards the headland at Tintagel. The three-bedroom home works well for families or small groups of friends travelling with a dog, providing a relaxing base between two picturesque villages: Port Isaac and Port Gaverne. At Port Isaac (500 metres) you can wander narrow streets, browse independent shops and watch fishing boats bringing in the day’s catch. The same distance in the other direction, takes you to the peaceful hamlet of Port Gaverne, which has a lovely dog-friendly beach and scenic headland views where you might even spot dolphins or seals.

You’ll reach this apartment via a flight of stairs to the front door then two further flights inside. It opens to a bright entrance hallway that leads to a gorgeous open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. Here, two sets of French doors frame the sea views and open onto balconies, filling the living space with light – it’s a lovely space for creating memories with your pets. Character features such as sloping ceilings and exposed beams create a warm atmosphere. There are three welcoming bedrooms: two en-suite super-king-size zip-and-link bedrooms (can each be arranged as twins), and a twin zip-and-link bedroom (can be converted into a king-size). All bedrooms have Smart TVs, and a stylish family bathroom completes the interior. Outside, you’ll love dining and lapping up the views on the two sea-facing balconies. A sheltered patio to the rear of the building provides a quieter seating spot with a wooden bench, and a beach hut up the path at the side of the building provides handy storage for boards and wetsuits. You’ll have private parking for one car.

The surrounding coastline offers plenty to explore with your dog. The South West Coast Path (500 metres) provides dramatic walking routes in both directions, with hidden coves and striking views to discover along the way. Around 12 miles west is Padstow, known for its food and lively harbour view, reachable via the ferry from Rock (8.5 miles). Head 9 miles in the other direction toward Tintagel, where rugged cliffs and legendary links to King Arthur create a memorable day out. Polzeath (7 miles) is popular with surfers and beach lovers, with the dog-friendly beach Greenaway Beach a great option for your furry friends.

We had an amazing stay! Having stayed in (and loved) Onan and Dew at the same property previously, we took the opportunity to stay in Pymp. What a fabulous apartment! Views to die for, exceptional location and well equipped! We love Port Isaac and have been frequent visitors to North Cornwall for many years. We were blessed with glorious weather and record temperatures. Such a pleasure to open the patio doors and let the warm summer breeze in. We spent a lot of time on the balconies (drinks in hand) and even saw dolphins one night! Pymp is a stunning apartment, with views to match.

Thank you for accommodating us and our dogs. Beautiful apartment. We loved sitting in the chairs with a glass of wine, watching dolphins in the bay.
