For a change of pace, drive to Tintagel (8.5 miles), where dramatic cliffs frame ruins of the castle, which you’re welcome to visit with your pet. Or set off in the other direction to sniff out pretty Padstow (12 miles), known for its foodie establishments and reachable via a short ferry ride from Rock (8.5 miles).
