This compact yet practical lodge is entered via the large patio doors which flood the space with light. Immediately in front of you is a lavish sofa where you can sit and admire the rolling countryside of an evening. To one side is a kitchenette which has a hob and a microwave so you can easily cook up something fulfilling or prepare a picnic for a day out. Beyond this is a stylish shower room with a WC, and to the other end of the cabin is a sumptuous king-size bed where you can curl up and rest after busy days exploring. Outside, you will find a little patio area with outdoor seating, tuck into al fresco dinners as your dogs soak up the sun.
Head into Foolow (0.5 miles) where there is a dog-friendly local pub, and some little cafes. The town of Eyam, otherwise known as the ‘Plague Village’ is 2 miles away where you can find out about the rich history of the area. Lead the way to adventure through stunning ancient woodlands and through moorlands and meadows at the National Trust’s Padley Gorge (6 miles) or take a trip to the picturesque town of Bakewell where you can go barking mad along the traffic-free Monsal Trail (6.5 miles).
