Though compact, this space has everything you need within its four walls. The open-plan space is decorated with neutral tones and has large, floor-to-ceiling patio doors that make the area bright and airy. Inside, curl up on the sofa as the dogs snooze by your feet and watch the outside world go by. To one side of the cabin is a kitchenette which has a microwave and a double hob, so you can cook up easy meals after busy days sniffing out adventures. Adjacent is a stylish shower room with a WC, and to the other end of the lodge, a sumptuous double bed where you can get some much-needed rest. You will also be able to enjoy dining alfresco on your private patio area which has furniture and overlooks the beautiful panoramic countryside views. Though this space isn’t fully enclosed, your well-behaved dogs can sniff about and enjoy this lovely meadow setting with you.
Sitting on the southern edge of the Peak District, Foolow is home to a couple of eateries and a lovely dog-friendly pub (0.5 miles). Walking routes are in abundance here, with the moderate climb up Sir William Trig Point, 2 miles away, and the traffic-free Monsal Trail accessed via Bakewell (6.5 miles). Visit the National Trust’s Padley Gorge (6 miles), an enchanted woodland filled with babbling brooks and interesting rock formations.
