  • Unwind outside, dining alfresco on the patio and soaking in the hot tub while little ones play
  • The perfect base for adventures across the dramatic Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park
Property code: OC-CVELO

Tucked away on a peaceful 100-acre working farm in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park, this expansive rural haven offers two beautiful lodges combined into one, making it an ideal getaway for large groups with canine companions in tow.

The first half of the home features a welcoming lounge/diner. Soft seating, a TV, and a glowing wood burner make it cosy on cooler evenings, while patio doors let the fresh air in during summer. Cook up local produce in the well-equipped kitchen and gather around the table for hearty group meals. Upstairs and down, you’ll find five bedrooms: two king-size rooms, a double, and two twins. An additional sofa bed offers space for two more guests, while three bathrooms, including two en-suites, ensure there’s convenience for all. In the second half of the property, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is the heart of the home. Sink into plush seating while your four-legged friend curls up by your feet, or whip up dinner in the cream-coloured kitchen. There’s a pool table and four more bedrooms: two king-size rooms, a triple (double + single), and a twin. An en-suite wet room, en-suite shower room, and a family bathroom complete the home. Outside, let your pup roam the lawns while the children enjoy the play equipment. With the property fully enclosed, you can relax while dog explores safely. Sit back on the covered patio with a glass of wine, or sizzle something on the BBQ. The hot tub is ready for post-hike soaks, and there’s plenty of outdoor seating. Additional perks include on-site bike hire, secure storage for gear, and private driveway parking for multiple cars.

Surrounded by spectacular scenery, it’s a dream setting for walkies, with red kites soaring above and miles of moorland and mountain trails waiting to be sniffed out. Let your loyal hound lead the way along the Epynt Way or take on Pen y Fan – the highest peak in South Wales.

Crai Valley Eco Lodges - a weekend family get together. We were a large family of 17 using 2 properties together, they both had a comfortable feel and we felt very much at home. The furniture was of a high standard and plenty of seating, kitchens were well stocked with crockery and pans. Theres plenty to do if you didn't want to venture far; poolRead more tables, board games, hot tub, and swing and trampoline for younger members. Watching the Red Kites was a real joy. The rear garden was enclosed with strong wire fencing, providing a view of the countryside. We had a beautiful outlook and being part of a dark skies area we took advantage of bringing the telescope and tri pods for night time viewing. The only negative was not having a connecting door between the 2 properties though with 2 sets of french doors to the rear garden it wasn't a problem, an easy route between the 2 kitchens. We would return, a real find for a large booking as there are not many properties that offer the accommodation with plenty of bedrooms, ensuites and ground floor space. Hide
