This characterful cottage is in the quiet village of Crai, in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. The traditional market town of Brecon is about 8 miles away – visit for a stroll around its independent shops, sample fine food and drink from its choice of eateries, and take in a magnificent range of architecture – the ancient cathedral is a must-see. When you want to stretch Fido’s legs further, the national park is home to some spectacular walks: conquer Pen y Fan, 12 miles away, or hike some of the 90km Epynt Way – paths run directly from the cottage doorstep.
