This luxurious holiday home enjoys a tranquil setting, nestled within a stunning estate in Dartmoor National Park. Sleeping six guests and three hairy hounds, it''s the ideal retreat for families and groups of friends looking to spend quality time together. As part of the estate, guests have access to a whole host of on-site facilities, such as an indoor swimming pool, a spa, a gym, and children''s play equipment. There is also a championship 18-hole golf course and driving range Stride out with the pups for relaxing walks through the grounds or explore nearby Dartmoor beauty spots such as Canonteign Falls (10 miles) and Burrator Reservoir (18 miles).

Enter to the rear of the property, into the spacious, farmhouse-style lounge/kitchen/diner. The room has a free-flowing design that lends itself to entertaining and has beautiful exposed beams and stonework and large windows framing leafy views. Spend time here, after a long walk with the pack, sharing mealtimes around the dining table or watching movies from the plush sofas. Upstairs, you''ll find an elegant king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and downstairs, there are two further bedrooms, both of which have en-suite facilities. One of the bedrooms has double doors leading to a small, decked area and completing the lower floor is a handy utility room. Outside, accessed via the lounge area, is a fabulous decked balcony with views across the estate. Enjoy family BBQs (charges apply) here on a summer's evening or sip a glass of wine under the stars.

As expected, the surrounding area is awash with spectacular walking routes to explore with the hounds. Get the heart pumping and ears flapping at Haytor or take a shady stroll along the waymarked trails at Becky Falls Ancient Woodland Park (4.5 miles). Spend the day at the seaside in paw-friendly Dawlish Warren (27 miles) or soak up the history at nearby Castle Drogo (6 miles). For shopping and eating out, the cathedral city of Exeter is 17 miles away.

On occasion the hotel has private functions in it’s lounges, bar and restaurants that may affect their availability to our lodge guests.

For Guests booking over the Christmas & New Year period:
- Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are not available in the hotel from the afternoon of 24th until after breakfast on 27th December and again from the afternoon of 31st December until after breakfast on 2nd January.
- A pre-booked Christmas day lunch can be ordered to your lodge along with a restricted pre-booked lodge menu for the evenings of 24th, 26th, 31st December and 1st January.
- The main hotel bar and lounges are reserved exclusively for our hotel package guests on these days between noon and 8pm, but Smith’s Brasserie is open for drinks
- Prior to 24th December, 27th – 30th December and after 2nd January normal restaurant & bar opening times operate.
