A flight of external stairs leads to the front door of this rural getaway. Inside, discover a bright and spacious holiday home with beautiful original features, exposed beams and stonework, and gentle hues that complement the surrounding landscape. The open-plan kitchen/diner is a lovely spot for social gatherings, with all the equipment needed to rustle up dinners for the group and an elegant dining table for sharing mealtimes together. From the kitchen/diner, stairs lead down to the inviting lounge, with its vaulted ceiling and cosy flame-effect gas fire. Unwind here, after a walk with the woofers, stretched out on the large sofa with a good book or your favourite programme on the Smart TV. This room is a good place to set up the dog beds, with hard floors and direct access to the outside space. Down another flight of stairs, you''ll find a delightful king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, along with a handy utility room. Continuing downstairs to the lower ground floor, discover a super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room and doors leading out onto a sheltered, decked space. Upstairs from the kitchen/diner is another fabulous king-size bedroom, again with an en-suite bathroom. Outside, fire up the BBQ (charges apply) and dine alfresco on the large, decked balcony, listening to the birds singing in the surrounding trees.
There are some fantastic places nearby to enjoy walks with your four-pawed pals, including Becky Falls Ancient Woodland Park (4.5 miles) and Canonteign Falls (10.5 miles) - both of which have shady woodland trails that are ideal for hairy hounds on a hot day. You''ll be within easy reach of some lovely paw-friendly beaches, including Dawlish Warren (27 miles) and Teignmouth (20 miles).
