With this cosy bolthole welcoming two canine chums too, walkers on two legs and four can enjoy numerous country trails and paths from the doorstep of this delightfully unusual holiday home. The shepherds hut is perfect for a restful nights sleep and there is a sofa to relax on, whilst a separate kitchen provides space for cooking delicious meals. With a secure shed for you to store mountain bikes, fishing tackle or even kayaks, spend the days walking, hiking and cycling before returning to recharge the batteries with a glass of wine in front of the warming wood burner.

Simply stylish with patterned soft furnishings complementing white wood-panelled walls and warm wooden floors, the hut makes for a unique sleeping experience. Relax with a movie as your pup snoozes in front of the wood burner, and wake to simply stunning views. The characterful country-style kitchen is in an adjacent building and has exposed beams, a feature fireplace and a table for romantic meals for two. Outside the hut you will also find the Shower and WC and Utility room which is in an adjacent building. The garden has pretty borders, and a patio, perfect for morning coffee or an evening BBQ, taking a moment to stargaze on a clear night.

Pop to independent shops, pubs and restaurants in historic Much Wenlock (7 miles), and Ironbridge (5.5 miles) has ten museums. With dogs on lead, explore 200 acres of parkland at Attingham Park (7.5 miles) and Benthall Hall (7.5 miles). At Dudmaston Hall (18 miles) dogs can explore off lead in Comer Woods and on the wider estate walks. Walking in the Shropshire Hills will take you along river valleys, through meadows and ancient woodlands, or over hilltops of rock and heather. At the end of the day, pop to your local dog-friendly pub, 1.5 miles away.

This was such a lovely stay & location. Derek the farmer was v welcoming & directed us to a field where we would let our dog off lead to exercise. The Shepherd's hut was so cosy, but also cool in hot weather, & v pretty, & the bed v comfortable. The separate kitchen & bathroom set up worked v well. I was a little nervous about going out to the loo Read morein the night, & had to be aware of the steps, but it worked out fine, with good outside lights for the shepherd's hut & the barn. We loved our stay at Wrekin Havoc. A trip down memory lane to visit the area. So many beautiful places to visit. The hut was cosy. The bed was so comfy. Best sleep I've had in years. The kitchen was well equipped. Although it would be good to have more than just two of each of crockery. We ate at the various pubs recommended. The Huntsman's Inn wasRead more our favourite. Definitely recommend a walk around the Wrekin. :-) The dogs had such a good time. Derek and Sue are helpful and caring. Thank you! Hide

Great little hut and in a nice spot, overlooking fields and The Wrekin, with separate kitchen and bathroom. Good location for Telford, Shrewsbury etc. with all the stunning scenery and walks. Would recommend the Ironbridge and a walk up The Wrekin. Friendly owners and would definitely stay again.

Warm and cosy. Very quiet. Would not hesitate to stay again. If internet access is important this may not suit as there was limited connectivity and a weak phone signal (a good thing from my perspective ). Shower took dome care as temperatures tended to fluctuate wildly.

Lovely settling and very welcoming. On a February day it was so nice to be welcomed with the log burner already going. Definitely not cold! Great view of the Wrekin from the hut. Perfect spot for a quiet and relaxed weekend break
