Canine Critic

Canine Critics is back for 2024 – with a twist!

Kate W 11 April 2024

Over the last few years, the role of Canine Critic has become a prestigious and much sought-after role in the canine community. We’re very proud of the roving Rovers that have taken on the mantle and the work they’ve done travelling the UK.

From @pipthewhip’s Dorset getaway that took place in 2023, to Poppy’s Lake District escape all the way back in 2018, these dogs have been on some amazing adventures. Our past Critics have worked hard to bring you insights, tips and reviews on the best places to stay within our isles.

We’re thrilled to announce that Canine Critics is back for 2024 – but this year, there's a twist! Big changes have taken place that we think every canine and their pup parents will love.

Things have changed for 2024 meaning every single dog can now get involved. These last few years have been so successful that we wanted to open the role of Canine Critic up to as many travel-loving doggos as possible, so we thought – why not make everyone a Canine Critic?

We want you and your four-pawed pal to get out there and start showcasing your own favourite corners of the UK, and report back to your fellow pup parents and canine adventurers.

Your waggy-tailed wonder can now join our pack and become a Canine Critic – you just need to share your content of your inspiring pup and tag us!

Not only will your content be easy to discover via our hashtag #CanineCritics2024, your adventures may also be shared on Canine Cottages' socials too and help our dog-loving community find their next favourite place.
