We reserve the right to remove any content that we consider to be inappropriate or unsuitable, and you insure and agree to hold us harmless for any claims, liabilities or damages arising from your use of our products or services, and your submission of content to our social media channels. This includes any costs incurred by us if it is necessary to defend ourselves against third-party claims relating to the content that you have submitted.
User Generated Content Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions outline the process and intended use of your User Generated Content. By accepting these Ts and Cs – you provide permission for Canine Cottages to use your content on their official social media channels and other marketing channels for promotional purposes. You also agree for us to share your User Generated Content with third parties.
About User Generated Content
User Generated Content is the content that’s created and shared by our customers. This includes images, videos, graphics, captions, and reviews that relate to Canine Cottages. Occasionally we may wish to share your content and social handle across our social media channels, other marketing platforms, and occasionally third parties.
If we would like to share your content, we will first ask for your permission
If you have created something that has not been submitted via a social competition which would usually hold you accountable to our standard Social Media Ts and Cs – then we will ask your permission to share your content before doing so.
If we wish to share your content across our social media platforms, other marketing channels and sometimes with third parties, we will comment on your content with the request, with a link back to our Social Media Policy for further information.
If you agree to all of the above then you will respond to our comment with #YesCanine.
UGC Guidelines
User Generated Content is moderated by Travel Chapter’s Social Media Team and contracted parties. We do not condone and will not share any content which we believe contains any of the following:
a. Copyrighted and/or trademarked material. This includes the use of photos, videos, logos, company names, media scenes, or works of art that might infringe on the copyright or trademarks of a third party.
b. Abusive or offensive content will not be shared and we reserve the right to remove anything that we deem as inappropriate. Please do not share any content that could be interpreted as offensive, harmful, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, harassing, bullying, or profane.
c. Impersonating others. Please do not impersonate any account, company or person.
d. Breach of privacy or confidentiality. Please do not share any information that can identify an individual. This includes sharing personal information such as home address, contact number, email address, date of birth, or booking reference details.
e. Untruthful comments or captions. Please ensure that any comments are factual and that opinions shared are authentic and not intended to be inflammatory.
f. Advertising: Please do not include any external links in your comments which are designed to promote external or unrelated products or services.
Canine Cottages’ Use of User Generated Content
Canine Cottages are not obligated to share User Generated Content and we reserve the right to edit or remove content at any time.
By consenting to our use of your content as per these terms and conditions, you waiver the right to royalty payments, and to review or object to Canine Cottages’ use of this content thereafter.
By agreeing to our terms and conditions you permit us royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, share, edit and broadcast your content for any marketing purposes. Whilst we have permission to use your content in this way, you will retain it’s legal ownership.
Assurances
In providing your consent for the User Generated Content that you have submitted, you confirm that:
- You have read through these terms and conditions.
- You have the authority and right to agree to agree to these terms and conditions.
- Your content does not infringe on copyright or any intellectual property rights.
- You have obtained permission from any third parties who appear in your content and have their consent to agree to these terms and conditions, and to share their likeness or personal data.

Prize Draw Terms
- Opening & Closing Dates:
Entries open on 17th April 2025 and close at 11:59 PM on 21st April 2025. Entries received after this time will not be counted. - Eligibility:
- Open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
- Only one entry per person, per day is permitted.
- Employees of the Promoter, their families, or affiliated agencies are not eligible to enter.
- How to Enter:
- No purchase necessary.
- Entries can be made by:
- All entries will be combined into a single Prize Draw.
- Prize Details:
- There will be one Prize Draw with one winner in total.
- The winner will receive:
