1. Entries for our summer prize draw open at 10:00AM on 25th July 2026 and will close at 00:00AM on 1st October 2026 (the Promotion Period). Any entries received after this date will not be considered.
2. The prize draw is only open to UK residents who are aged 18 and over.
3. No employees, their families, agencies or anyone professionally connected with this prize draw are eligible to enter.
4. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw. 5. By entering the prize draw, the entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
How to Participate
1.To enter, comment on a qualifying prize draw post or story published on any of the Canine Cottages Collective official social media channels during the Promotion Period. 2.The aim of the Canine Cottages Collective is to build an online community for dog lovers and share expert advice, recommendations and travel tips. Throughout the Promotion Period, selected posts will invite followers to share their suggestions, opinions and experiences on a range of dog-friendly travel and lifestyle topics.
3.Qualifying prize draw posts will be clearly identified in the post caption.
4.No purchase is necessary to enter.
5.Internet access and a valid social media account are required.
6.Multiple comments may be submitted; however, each entrant will only receive one entry into the prize draw per qualifying post unless otherwise stated.
7.Entries that are incomplete, offensive, defamatory, fraudulent, generated by automated means, or otherwise breach the rules of the relevant social media platform will not be accepted.
8.The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, or not successfully recorded due to technical faults, platform outages, or network issues.
9.The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone who breaches these Terms and Conditions or acts contrary to their spirit and intent.
Selection of the Winner
1.One (1) winner will be selected by random draw performed by a computer process on 1 October 2026 from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period.
2.The random draw will take place after the Promotion Period has closed.
3.The winner will be notified on 1st October 2026.
4.The winner must respond to the notification within five (5) days of the date of notification in order to claim their Prize. Instructions for claiming the Prize will be provided to the winner in the notification comment.
5.If the winner does not respond within the required five (5) day period, declines the Prize, is found to be ineligible, or is otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and select an alternative winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.
The Prize
1.The Prize is one (1) £1,000 Canine Cottages voucher (the Prize).
2.The Prize would be valid for new bookings only and would need to be redeemed in full within 12 months of the issue date. Any holiday or holidays to be taken using the Prize, would be subject to availability, and standard booking terms & conditions.
3.If the Prize becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond the applicable Promoter’s control, it may be substituted with an item of equal or greater value.
4.No cash alternative is available. The Prize is non-refundable, non-transferable, and must not be sold.
Additional Bonus Prizes
1.From time to time, additional bonus prizes may be offered on selected prize draw posts. Any such posts will be clearly identified in the post caption.
2.Bonus prizes may be subject to additional terms and conditions, which will be made available alongside the relevant post.
3.Unless otherwise stated, bonus prizes are in addition to the Prize.
4.The Promoter is under no obligation to offer any bonus prizes and reserves the right to introduce, amend, substitute, suspend or withdraw any bonus prize promotion at any time without notice.
Notification of the Winner and receipt of the Prize
1. A correspondent at The Travel Chapter Limited will reach out to the winner and will send the Prize to them via email following successful notification.
2.The Promoter will not be liable for parts of the Prize which are lost, delayed or damaged for reasons beyond their reasonable control, or any additional expenses that may be incurred by the winner in relation to the prize draw or their Prize.
3.The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the Promoter is unable to contact the winner or the winner has not provided the Promoter with their email address in order for the Promoter to deliver the Prize, then the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random from the remaining eligible entries.
4.The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all respects in relation to entrants and the Promoter will not enter into any further correspondence.
5.To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, their agent, suppliers, distributors, officers, directors, employees and shareholders will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners, or to accept any liability for any loss or damage of whatever nature and howsoever arising, or for personal injury or death occurring as a result of your participation in the prize draw or the winner taking up their Prize, except where injury or death is caused by the negligence of a Promoter. Your statutory rights are not affected.
6.All prize draw entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter’s on receipt.
Data Protection
1.Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
2.By entering the prize draw, the entrant consents to the processing of personal data for the purposes of administering and fulfilling the prize draw, and such data will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
3.Where you have indicated your consent to receiving communications from the Promoter about their products, special offers, promotions and services as part of entering the prize draw, your email address will be added to the Promoter’s email lists and processed in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy set out above. You can opt out at any time.
4.The Promoter will make available the surname and county of the winner to anyone who contacts the Promoter asking for this information within one month of the winner being notified. If the winner objects to their surname and / or county being published or made available they should notify the Promoter of this when responding to the notification email to claim their Prize. In such circumstances the Promoter must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if, and when requested, to indicate that a valid award took place under the prize draw.
General
1.The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend these Terms and Conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the prize draw will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.
2.The Terms and Conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
3.The successful winner may be asked to participate in publicity arising out of the prize draw.
4.Should the prize draw be cancelled or varied by the Promoter at their discretion if reasonably required to do so, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss of money or expense incurred by entrants or the winner.
5.Except as specifically set out herein and to the maximum extent permitted by law, all conditions, warranties and representations expressed or implied by law are hereby excluded. Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit either Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its staff’s negligence or for fraud or for any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded by law or regulation.
6.This prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter) or any other social network or platform.
