Puggy Smalls and Pops | London

Puggy. The man, the myth, the legend. He's a chunky boy with a lot of love to give. Believe it or not, he's a very active dog. He's super inquisitive and loves an adventure whilst posing for photos along the way of course.

Pops is a diva rescue queen, who sometimes forgets where she came from - she's living her best life in London and hasn't looked back to her horrible past since. Don't be fooled by the rocks that she's got, she's still Pops from the block.

Both doggies love fashion, snacks and cuddles. Although they are both successful models, they are humble little things who just crave the simple things, like naps and cheese. They have individual accounts on Instagram @thepuggysmalls and @pop_sausage as well as a joint account @mrandmrssmalls.

These roving reporters recently took their first trip as Canine Critics to Greystone Cottage on the Isle of Wight - check out their cottage review to see what they got up to.

What makes us special...

Puggy and Pops

Ermmmm... have you seen our cute faces?

So, Puggy is an internet sensation. He's had over a billion video views, is insanely popular and all-round gangsta. Pops is a special lady who is lucky to be here. She was rescued from a puppy farm where they abused and neglected her so badly she was only expected to live another month after we saved her. Truth is, they both saved us, and Pops now works as a therapy dog for people with Alzheimer’s and dementia, so she's helping countless others too. We are so lucky to have such a funny pair!

How we met our humans:

Pops had a veryyyy bad start. We thought we were going to see a family pet that needed rehoming, but we actually walked into a puppy farm. Pops wasn't for sale; she had an infection after a back-street spay that went wrong, and she was left in a cage to die. We rescued her when she was around 3 years old in 2015. She is now thriving after having to recover physically and mentally; the puppy mill has since been shut down and the owner prosecuted.

Puggy was an 8-week-old puppy when we bought him in 2015, and he's been an absolute charmer since day one! We always wanted a little pug and when the time was right, we found the pug for the job!

Favourite playtime activity:

Zoomies, walkies, exploring, posing, squeaky toys!

Best party trick:

Puggy - head tilt and high five. Pops - judgmental disappointed stare...

We bark at...

Puggy barks at planes. Pops barks at anything that displeases her.

Favourite place to sleep:

Doggy bed

In a big comfy doggy bed together.

Cheekiest habit:

Puggy is a food thief and is always stealing picnics. Pops barks in your face if you refuse to give belly rubs.

Favourite walk:

At the manor

We live in the city so we walk everywhere, but we love to escape on our days off and take the dogs to sandy beaches or on countryside adventures.

Our best day would be…

In the summer - beach!!!!! During winter, the best days are made up of woodland walks while all wrapped up.

Our best friends are...

We love @barriespaws and @allaboutlloyd and @daphnethewondersossige and @lv_poms - we have lots of besties!

One other thing you should know about us...

We got our humans together! They met on a doggy shoot because of us!
