After a nationwide hunt for the country’s top dogs – and a lot of pawing through the 51,850 entries – we crowned our ten regional winners 2019.
As well as sniffing out the best dog-friendly accommodation and doggy days out, our critics will be spoilt rotten with a goodie box packed to the brim with tasty treats, canine clothing and great gadgets, courtesy of our fantastic brand partners.
We’d like to give a round of a-paws to our brand partners whose dog-friendly products are sure to set our critics’ tails wagging. Here’s a little tidbit about what they will receive:
Joules is letting sleeping dogs lie on a comfy travel bed provided for each of our critics, so they can dream of chasing rabbits in style.
Thanks to Luna’s Loft’s selection of snoods and bandanas, our critics will look the opposite of a dog’s dinner – perfect for posing for those #TongueOutTuesday snaps.
Our critics can join Pooch & Mutt’s pet food revolution by tucking into its nutritionally balanced dog food that comes in recyclable packaging.
WildWash has gifted bottles of its shampoo so our pampered pups can have a makeover that will rival a wash and blow-dry at a human salon.
All-natural and hand-baked in Devon, The Dog Treat Company’s selection of tasty treats are sure to send our critics barking mad.
Just like their owners, it’s important for pups to stay fit, too. Pitpat is sending our critics a doggy fitness tracker each, so their humans can monitor them running up the beach, and down the beach, and up the beach, and down the beach….
Exploring new walks is part of any good Canine Critic’s job description, and now they will look the part with collars and leads from Oscar & Hooch.
Our critics can improve their carbon pawprint by chomping on these eco-friendly treats and toys – as well as being good for the planet, it will deter them from chewing shoes/the sofa/whatever they can get their teeth into.
Beer isn’t just for the humans, you know – our critics will receive 12 bottles of the charmingly named ‘Bottom Sniffer’ dog beer. Just remember to drink responsi-pup-ly!
There’s no denying that scooping poop is a regular feature in the life of a dog owner, but who gives a thought to what happens after you’ve bagged it and binned it? Our critics (and their owners) can feel a little greener with FETCH.IT’s 100% compostable poo bags – just watch how you say the brand name…
Based just down the road from Canine Cottages HQ, The Clovelly Soap Company has sent our critics a selection of its ‘Mucky Pup’ products – perfect for freshening up after a long, muddy walk.
We love going to the pub with our dogs, so it’s only right they can have their own treats while they’re there. Bark Snacks’ boxes of doggie fish and chips will provide our critics with a healthy, balanced and tasty treat that's ideal for chowing down on the go.
Our critics will all have a ball on a dog-friendly holiday cottage break, but that’s not all they’ve got to look forward to. They’ll have a doggy welcome hamper waiting for them, courtesy of Love Louie, packed with personalised treats they’ll go mutts for.
So that's it, the prizes in a mutt-shell! Thanks once again to our fur-nomenal brand partners for creating waggy tails all round.
