Pet-friendly holiday cottages and accommodation in West Sussex
We’ve gone mutts for holidays in West Sussex – we simply love this part of the UK and how it welcomes furry visitors with open arms. Stretching from the historic city of Chichester in the west to the lively Brighton in the east, via the rolling landscapes of the South Downs National Park, it’s a pooch paradise just waiting to be explored.
West Sussex is home to a whole host of attractions where dogs are rightly just as welcome to enjoy themselves as their humans are. Hop aboard a steam train on the Bluebell Railway, discover the open-air museum at Amberley or enjoy a good old run-about at the well-named Petworth Park – there are so many dog-friendly days out to choose from.
If you’re after some serious walkies, the South Downs has several trails to get lost on, while the coast is home to several dog-friendly beaches, such as East Head and Newhaven, where there is even a network of tunnels to sniff out.
This is just the tip of the iceberg – there’s so much more waiting for you and your furry friend here in West Sussex; our Canine guide to Sussex has even more top tips. Head to one of our dog-friendly cottages in Sussex to discover everything the area has to offer for yourself!
