The popular market town of Bakewell is just 9.5 miles from the property.

A flight of external steps leads you to this stylish ground-floor apartment. Once inside, you’ll discover an impressive open-plan living area comprising a lounge/kitchen/diner. The space has been decorated in a contemporary style and has ample room for the dog bed. Enjoy a meal for two at the dining table, before sinking into the comfy sofa to watch a film on the smart TV with Fido curled at your feet. A king-size bed awaits for a good night’s rest.

If your canine friend has a head for heights, climb aboard the cable car in the village to take you to the Heights of Abraham. This 60-acre hilltop estate is a real doggy haven, with a network of paths to sniff and explore, as well as pretty picnic spots and outdoor seating areas. The picturesque market town of Bakewell makes a lovely day out. Sample the town’s famous pudding in one of the many paw-friendly cafes, followed by a potter around the open-air market.

Totally awesome apartment! Spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and in a great location. Personally I need a good comfortable bed, with good quality linen and a good shower in an apartment, The Kedleston ticked all those boxes for sure. Would deffo stay there again if we find ourselves in that neck of the woods.

Dont stay here if you want a quite holiday not disabled friendly very noisy from the garage and road traffic parking horrendous 34 for a permit for the week .as for the apartment probably was very nice in the beginning but is very marked and very dirty not a good standard at all your view is not the river its a brick wall.

Perfect facilities and location, would advise any pet owners that there are steep steps to the property, the owner was sadly let down by his cleaners who did not do their job, however when we contacted the owner he was very helpful & upgraded us no problem

We had a wonderful 5 day break in this cottage which is ideally located for exploring the Peak district and surrounding countryside. We loved the way it was decorated and found it very comfortable and practical.

Clean and modern property, comfortable bed, good facilities and decorated nicely. We enjoyed staying there. Only negative was the shower only stayed hot for one shower at a time.

Lovely place to stay close to the river and some really lovely walks, and great access to amenities. The accommodation is well equipped and decorated and is very comfortable.

We had a fantastic two night stay! Accommodation was modern, clean and well equipped. We had no trouble parking opposite and the village location was perfect with shops, restaurants, amusements, pubs, lovely walks and days out like the Poole's cavern, Buxton and Bakewell not far away. The heights of Abraham is close (opens from the 11th Feb) so we Read moredidn't get the chance to go on it but that now gives a reason to go back as there is so much to see and do! Hide

Fabulous little cottage, decorated lovely, nice comfy bed! Easy walk to cafes, pubs bars etc! And a great area to go walking there are various different trails to follow! Loved our weekend here!

Amazing lodge which despite being very dog friendly felt very much a luxury place to stay. Spotlessly clean, good area, comfy and homely. We stayed for a week and definitely could have stayed longer! Thank you!

We have just come back from a fantastic week in the Peak District. Our accommodation was fantastic. Clean , comfortable. We even found a car space every day. We have a 6 month old puppy. It was great for him. If we go back to matalock bath. Would definitely stay there again.

Lovely apartment - everything perfect and tastefully done - excellent bed and great night sleep . Parking easy and great location to explore and eat out. Recommend Rose Cottage for ales and meals - particularly game pie - avoid Fish Pond (very young vibe and food very average). Will visit again - so much more to explore . Thank you
