This lovely three-bedroom holiday home has an upside-down layout that maximizes its ocean views, and the central location makes it an excellent base for a family holiday. Reconnect with long rambles on the beach, kids and furry friends relishing the open space and fresh air, before enjoying the home comforts which include a games console. Sit back and watch the sun sinking into the sea from the comfortable living space, dogs curled at your feet, and embrace the delights of seaside-living.
The ground-floor entrance lobby is perfect for leaving sandy gear and brushing down wet dogs, before heading upstairs to the main living space on the third floor. Here the delightful open plan living/dining space is flooded with light from the two sets of French doors. A dining table, bistro table with stools, and large sofa area provide ample space for everyone to kick back, and board games are on hand for family entertainment. The well-equipped kitchen has some nice extras like a cafetière for freshly brewed coffee, and there are two bathrooms to make life easier too. Bedrooms are downstairs on the first floor, including a versatile single room with an optional trundle bed, plus a TV and Wii, a cosy bunk room and a bright master double. The outside seating area is shared with the neighbouring property.
It’s less than 0.25 miles from the house to the harbour, and 0.5 miles from the beach where the dogs will be in their element splashing in the shallows, and kids can discover hidden treasures in the rock pools. Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands for seal-spotting, or wander up the shoreline to Bamburgh to explore the iconic castle before indulging in a hearty lunch in one of the many dog-friendly pubs.
