This cosy cottage is an ideal base for a romantic couples escape. One of five, it is set around a pretty courtyard on a delightful complex, offering lots of on site activities.
Romantic getaways don’t come much more perfect than at this cute, little, converted cottage, situated in the heart of the countryside close to the Devon/Cornwall border. One of five properties set around a charming courtyard, here you can enjoy the best of both worlds; your own private quarters from which to relax and unwind, along with some amazing shared facilities and activities that are available within the complex. Long woodland walks or late-night strolls around the lake make this a wonderful retreat for a couple and two canine companions.
The open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area has been well-designed and feels spacious and airy, offering everything you could need whilst here on your holiday. An exposed brick fire surround houses a gorgeous wood burner which provides a warming setting where Fido can lay down and wait for belly rubs. Upstairs, buttery walls perfectly compliment pine furniture and floors, with crisp white bed linen coming together to create a most relaxing space to rest and unwind.
On-site and just a few steps from your front door, you can enjoy a host of fun activities to fill your days and evenings here. The games barn houses a pool table, table football, darts and air hockey or you could go and meet the animals over at ‘pet corner’. When you’re ready for some peace and quiet, grab Fido’s lead and take a long stroll around the lake or stop and partake in a couple of hours of coarse fishing. The traditional market town of Holsworthy is just 5-miles from the cottage and contains a good selection of shops, pubs and cafes. Travel a further 9.5-miles and you’ll find the seaside surfing town of Bude – with six beaches to choose from here, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
