The property is well positioned for exploring a wide area between Oban and Fort William and further west. The apartment was warm and comfortable - well presented for two people and a dog.

This cottage is in an exceptional area of natural beauty and gives easy access to various well-known visitor destinations. The flat is on the ground floor so perfect for a dog. The grounds of the cottage are perfect for morning dog-walking. There are lots of pubs and restaurants nearby but you generally need to book in the holiday season. Lovely comfortable cottage with good quality furnishings and equipment. Quiet spot with beautiful space at the back, open fields. Good local places to visit, ie Port Appin, and easy to get to Oban and Fort William.

The property is set in beautiful grounds, with lovely views (especially at sunset). It is well-equipped and comfortable and we really didn't mind spending time on a wet afternoon just relaxing in the quiet and comfortable environment. You do need to drive to any walks or attractions - it's about 7 miles from Glencoe and 20 from Fort William, Ben NeRead morevis etc., but the roads are so beautiful that this was not a problem. Easy to reach Mull and Iona as well, although that needs a full day out. Hide
