Dating back to 1840, this beautiful house comprises three properties, with this lodge being the largest. The property has been thoughtfully furnished, with a number of items of local interest including some examples of taxidermy and a collection of books. You can relax and enjoy a movie in the spacious lounge or share a fantastic meal in the light and welcoming conservatory, which offers fantastic country views and is also perfect for enjoying afternoon tea. Please note this property is linked via a connecting door to property 28686, which can be booked alongside this property by larger groups. The garden and extensive grounds are shared with the two other properties, offering beautiful scenery and plenty of space for dogs to run about.
This idyllic area offers plenty to do, including sailing, mountain biking, fishing and walking. There are plenty of walks to enjoy, and dogs are welcome to accompany you to Glencoe National Nature Reserve (1.5 miles) and to Dunstaffnage Castle and McCaig’s Tower, both in Oban. Or you could take a tour of Castle Stalker (6.5 miles). There are plenty of dog-friendly pubs along the way, and you can also take your pooch on the Jacobite steam railway (20 miles), or on a ferry trip to the islands of Mull, Staffa and Iona.
