Surrounded by fields, woodland and farmland, this quaint cottage is an ideal bolthole for families of four plus two canine companions. Explore the famous beaches of Gower, take a hike in the hills or wander along the Wales Coast Path, all with your faithful friend in tow. Afterwards, return to the property for a run around in the 3 acres of grounds before settling in for a cosy night snuggled up in front of the electric fire.

Inside, this traditional Welsh cottage has been tastefully modernised to provide light, airy and open-plan accommodation fit for modern day family life. Prepare delicious meals in the sunny kitchen, which contains everything you could need, before dining at the table nearby. Afterwards, hunker down on the inviting sofa and settle in for an evening of games or TV while four-legged friends cosy up in front of the electric fire. Two bedrooms await, one double and one bunk bedroom. Outside, the patio is a pretty spot for enjoying an al fresco drink, while the shared hot tub is the perfect way to unwind after long walks.

A pooch’s paradise, this property is surrounded by wonderful walking opportunities. Spend a day splashing in the surf on the Gower Coast as you visit the dog-friendly stretches at Rotherslade Bay (8.5 miles), Port Eynon (13 miles) and Mumbles (9.5 miles). For golf, choose between The Gower Golf Club (2.5 miles) and Machynys Peninsula Golf and Country Club (8 miles), or for dog-friendly family days out head for Clyne Farm Centre (8.5 miles), Penllergare Valley Woods (6.5 miles) or some of Swansea’s beautiful parks and gardens. Swansea (7.5 miles) is also home to a waterfront museum, marina and plenty of shops and restaurants.

  • A booking system and rota will be present for the shared hot tub, the utility room and the various outdoor games will be available per cottage
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Absolutely lovely stay, beautiful surroundings with great access to all the amazing beaches and sites the Gower has to offer. Hosts were brilliant at suggesting exactly where to go whatever the weather and all the facilities, hottub, bbq, kids outdoor play toys were perfect. Thanks so much for making our holiday so lovely.

Clean and very well positioned in a truly beautiful part of Wales. Lyns welcomed us personally and explained how to navigate. The welcome book was informative and we got a.glimpse into our hosts humour. We would give the location and hosts 10 out of 10

Our stay here was delightful. Accommodation was clean, spacious and our hosts were delightful. The hosts provided a detailed list of activities and locations of interest prior to our stay which was so helpful and in addition they were on site to speak to directly. Stunning locale with amazing views. Perfect to unwind and relax. The hot tub was brilliant as you can relax and take in the fabulous views that surround you. A fantastic place to stay. We had three generations staying and we all had a great time. We ate together every night around the big table. Enjoyed seeing the horses, the hot tub was a hit with the younger members of the family. The facilities were excellent. So much to see in the Gower Peninsula. We could have stayed longer. Lovely welcome from our hosts without being intrusive. This is one of a number of barn conversions which have communal gardens, and a hot tub and barbecue that you can use. A secluded rural location from which you can probably reach anywhere in the Gower within about half an hour.

Comfortable converted former farm building in a glorious setting with open outlook and views. The owners were on hand to greet us and made themselves available during our stay to offer guidance on walks and places to visit which was really helpful. Despite having a private outside space at the rear, the use of a much larger shared rear garden with Read more2 other adjoining cottages was a real bonus. Good local s/market, pubs and takeaways within easy reach meant we didn't need to travel far for supplies Hide

Cottage in lovely rural location within east reach of all main attractions. Well thought out open plan living area, decked area outside back door which was a lovely sun trap!!!
