Stylish cottage nestled in a peaceful private position amid 50 acres of a country estate. Enjoy wonderful walks or a game of croquet and in the evenings relax in front of the lovely wood burner.
Sitting in a private position on a beautiful country estate, this stylish detached cottage sleeps five people over two bedrooms and welcomes two four-legged friends. Surrounded by woodland trails and boasting an enclosed garden with country views, this property provides the perfect rural escape for small families or groups of friends who want to enjoy all the peace and quiet of the countryside with their pups by their side.
This cottage is set on a complex of properties on the grounds of a mansion house country estate. Step inside and you’ll find a welcoming hall where you can dry-off any muddy paws. The hall leads through to a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which features vaulted ceilings with exposed wooden beams. Cook up a storm in the bespoke kitchen before enjoying dinner in the comfy dining area. Alternatively, step outside and dine al fresco style in the enclosed garden. You can soak up the view while your pups potter around the garden. Just a short stroll away you’ll find a croquet lawn and a garden chess set and plenty of woodland trails around the country estate. At the end of the day, snuggle with your canine companions in front of the woodburner in the lounge area, or retire with a book to one of the two beautiful bedrooms. There’s even a quirky first floor mezzanine level with a sofa bed, if you have an additional guest.
Located on the south side of the old harbour, St Andrews East Sands (16 miles) is a great doggy-friendly spot to take your pups. And if you have the kids with you, you’ll be glad to hear that Craigtourn Country Park (13 miles) is also dog-friendly, so nobody has to miss out on the day’s fun!
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
