Located within 50 acres of private grounds, this period cottage exudes charm and encourages adventure. Sleeping four guests across two bedrooms and welcoming your two dogs, your whole clan will love making themselves at home here. For budding and seasoned naturalists, the abundance of wildlife will be a real draw whilst four-legged friends will adore discovering new sights and smells all around.
Head up the private staircase and stride down the hallway to the lounge/diner. Kitted out with comfortable seating and a dining table and chairs, you can waste no time in finding your favourite spot. For that extra cosy feel, there is a wood burner perfect for winter nights and a TV and DVD player, too. If you have hungry mouths to feed, you will find the kitchen has everything you could need to prepare hearty meals at home. Try your hand at some haggis, neeps and tatties or go for something a little more familiar; the wonderful smells are sure to attract all members of the family – both two-legged and four! When you are ready for a good night’s sleep, the cottage has a king-size bedroom and a twin with an en-suite shower and WC. There is also a family bathroom with a bath that has great views across the grounds.
Outside, there is a seating area for you to use as well as the acres of private estate. Interwoven with woodland trails and country tracks, there is plenty to keep inquisitive minds and restless legs busy on-site. Further afield, there is plenty to do, too. For keen walkers, a walk up to Norman’s Law (5 miles) is recommended. To make sure you’re well stocked up with food and goodies, there are plenty of towns nearby, including Cupar (6 miles), Balmerino (8.5 miles) and St Andrews (15.5 miles).
