A branch of the Camel Trail passes right by the cottage; this popular cycle path runs from Bodmin to Padstow, following the route of the River Camel through some of Cornwall’s most beautiful scenery. Hire a bike or bring your own and take Rover on a run to remember. After all that exercise, you will be in need of refreshment, and a fantastic gastropub, with water bowls for Fido at the ready, is 600 metres from your door. The dramatic landscape of Bodmin Moor begins less than 6 miles away, with plenty of interesting sights, sounds and smells for canine companions to investigate. The spectacular Eden Project should not be missed with its incredible ''Biomes'' home to different environments that support an unbelievable variety of plant life. Though dogs can enjoy miles of outdoor paths at the Eden Project, they are not permitted inside the Biomes, so it''s probably best for them to sit this one out.
