Providing additional accommodation for two canine companions, the cottage is an ideal base for families, couples and their pets discovering the breathtaking beaches and beautiful countryside of this unforgettable region. Overlooking the pretty Sterridge Valley, the cottage is part of a small complex of properties with a range of great facilities on site.
Heading to the first floor, the open-plan lounge/diner is a relaxing sociable space with original oak beams set in high vaulted ceilings. The lounge is a delightful space to snuggle up, watch a movie or chat about the day. Gather around the dining table to share a fantastic family meal which can be rustled up in the light and stylish kitchen. Returning to the ground floor you will find a handy family bathroom and two cosy bedrooms: a lovely double room and a pretty triple room with three single beds. Outside, a bench and BBQ provides a relaxing spot to sit back and take in the idyllic rural views over the valley. There’s 18 acres surrounding the property with plenty of walks for your dogs to enjoy. The choice of shared facilities on site includes a hot tub, heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, a large children’s play area and a spacious games room with table football, pool and table tennis. There are also some friendly donkeys and a Shetland pony.
The North Devon coast has plenty of dog-welcoming beaches including Heddon’s Mouth, Broad Sands, Hele Bay and Rapparee Cove (all within 10 miles). There are also plenty of pet-friendly pubs, cafes and restaurants in the bustling seaside resorts of Combe Martin (3 miles) and Ilfracombe (4.5 miles).
