The house is very comfortable with spacious shared living areas i.e. sitting room, cooking/dining area. It has a well equipped kitchen area with ample power points. There is an abundant amount of cutlery, crockery, pots/pans and glasses etc. Well equipped kitchen area with hob, fridge, freezer, dish washer, kettle, toaster etc. The bedroom top righRead moret with 2 single beds is best suited to children or 1 adult as there is not a lot of space between the beds and there is no TV/Radio. There are more than enough double power points in all the rooms. The folder in the house contains a lot of useful information including the WIFI password. The house is immediately behind the Ship Inn and provides meals at a reasonable price. A full English breakfast was served to non-residents from 08:30-09:30 at 12.00 per person and had to be booked and paid for in advance/the evening before. To avoid disappointment I would recommend all meals are pre-booked. The staff are very friendly, efficient and the evening meals are delicious. Hide

Beautiful setting for a lovely cottage. We visited as 3 generations and all enjoyed the setting and the lovely house. None of us wanted to go home. The pub next door does good food, and friendly staff. A great holiday with beautiful countryside and lovely walks.

Great place. Kitchen area is great for seating & communal hub of house. We had a chinese delivered one night & sat drinking & playing games. On Sunday we went to The Ship inn for Sunday lunch which was good. The garden seating area looks good too unfortunately no trains running this weekend (which we knew) So will return sometime in better weather
