Tails will wag with delight at this glamping escape by the Pembrokeshire coast, where sandy paws and salty swims are just steps away. Welcoming up to four guests, plus canine companions, the comfortable tent is the perfect base for exploring this idyllic location and spending time together in the fresh air.
Eager pups will lead you up the two shallow steps to the decking where this glamping accommodation is set, on a field with just three other tents. It’s bright and airy inside, with a high ceiling and solid floor, plus electricity points – this is camping with comfort, after all. The tent has room for four occupants in an inviting double bed and two singles, though the singles can be removed if you wish. When you’ve placed your hound’s bed on the floor, brew a cuppa on your outdoor kettle or head over to the shared kitchenette/diner, where you can whip up delicious meals and enjoy them together. In warm weather light the BBQ or use the fire pit for toasting marshmallows, perching at your picnic table or wooden stools and enjoying the sunshine or dark, starry skies. Work off excess energy in the games room or on the football field, or head back to your cosy tent for an evening snuggled up on the sofa with a good book. You’ll have your own shower block with a hot shower and a WC, and another great benefit is parking for one car.
The tent is just 50 metres from small, dog-friendly Jubilee Beach and the scenic coast path, which takes you to the unspoilt village of Dale, 0.5 miles. Here you’ll find an excellent pub specialising in seafood (hounds allowed in the small bar or rooftop terrace) and a sand-and-shingle beach that’s a haven for water sports.
