For a memorable Welsh stay with your family and pets, stay in this glamping bell tent at the western tip of Milford Haven. The site sits just outside the welcoming village of Dale, where you’ll find friendly pubs and cafes to refuel after seaside strolls. Dale Bay’s sand and shingle beach (2.5 miles) is great for a paddle, while further along the coast, Marloes Sands (3 miles) has dramatic views and plenty of space for energetic dogs to run free. If you’re lucky, you may even glimpse seals or puffins along the way.
This stylish, pretty bell tent sits on a raised wooden deck with a couple of steps leading up to it. Inside, there’s a comfy double bed and two singles, although the single beds can be removed if you prefer more space. The cosy sofa is ideal for curling up with your pups at your feet. Outside, you’ll have a picnic bench and fire pit area where you can gather for marshmallow toasting or evening BBQs under the stars. Dogs will love exploring the grassy surroundings, and there’s a shared on-site field where they can let off steam. You’ll also have access to a private shower and WC in the nearby timber-clad block, plus shared facilities including a kitchenette and a games barn. Parking is available for one car.
Beyond the site, join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path (350 metres) to explore mile after mile of breathtaking scenery with your four-legged companions. Dale village will appeal to history fans, with its 13th-century castle (1 mile), Lime Kilns (350 metres) and, a little further away, West Blockhouse Fort (2.5 miles).
