The breathtaking Northumberland National Landscape surrounds this wonderful holiday home, inviting you to explore walks, sightseeing, wildlife spotting, and more with your canine companion by your side. This pet-approved property hosts a total of four guests and two dogs. It’s conveniently located next to the A1, which does result in some road noise; however, it also ensures you’re well-connected to the vast Northumberland countryside, the seaside town of Berwick-upon-Tweed (8 miles), and the beautiful Scottish Borders (10 miles).
Offering a home-from-home for your four-legged friends, it’s clear that care has been taken to ensure this abode is extremely pet-friendly. On arrival, stop off in the shared boot room where a hot shower allows you to wipe off muddy paws and sandy fur before heading inside. In the lounge, look forward to endless nights of relaxation, with the wood burner keeping toes and paws warm and the Smart TV providing entertainment. A kitchen/diner, WC, and utility room all sit downstairs, and upstairs, you’ve got your king-size and twin bedrooms, along with a family bathroom. Heading back outside, let Rover sniff out all four corners of the enclosed garden, a secure space furnished with outdoor seating and a fire pit. There’s also private off-road parking.
In the garden, you may be able to catch a glimpse of Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island. To explore it closer, pop Fido on the lead and make your way to the Holy Island Causeway (2 miles). While on the island, you’ll enjoy awe-inspiring scenery, a local pub, and plenty of seals and seabirds to spot during your walk. Other marvellous birdlife can be found along the local walking trails of St Oswald's Way and St Cuthbert's Way, both well worth exploring with adventure-ready pets.
