A serene 15-mile drive will bring you to Grasmere, famous for its gingerbread and peaceful atmosphere. Nearby Ambleside offers a variety of shops, eateries, a cinema, and the iconic, often-photographed houses of the Lake District.

After days of Lake District adventure, sink into the sofa and flick on the Smart TV whilst the chosen chef takes to the compact but well-equipped kitchen space to cook up a feast for two.
