Escape in style with your nearest and dearest to this charming end-of-terrace cottage in a smart complex of properties on the edge of a picturesque holiday park, on Lake Windermere’s eastern shore. Sleeping six people across three bedrooms and welcoming two canine companions, it’s the ideal accommodation choice for families or groups of friends in search of a stylish base to call home while they explore the Lake District together. Take your pups for walkies at Orrest Head, which offers one of the most spectacular panoramic views over Lake Windermere and the surrounding fells; and in the evening, come home and enjoy a tranquil al fresco dinner on the cottage’s wonderful private deck while your pups run around the pretty space.

Step inside this delightful retreat and you’ll discover a bright and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner that welcomes you with its modern, elegant styling. Take a moment to relax in the lounge area, which is bathed in a palette of soft hues and features a cosy wood burner, before heading to the sleek kitchen area to whip up some dinner. Gather everyone to eat at the inviting dining area, or head out onto the deck to dine alfresco while your pups play. After dinner, head back to the lounge area to open a bottle of something cool and crisp by the wood burner. At the end of the day, head upstairs and you’ll find three stylish bedrooms: two thoughtfully decorated double bedrooms (one with an en-suite shower room) and one cute twin. Completing the layout is a smart family bathroom with a shower over the bath. Private parking is available for two cars.

Take your pups on a stroll through the stunning gardens at Brockhole (8 miles). Afterwards, stop off for a bite to eat at one of the dog-friendly lakeview cafes. Alternatively, head to Loughrigg Fell (11.5 miles) with your dogs. Tails will surely wag when you head up trails to discover the breathtaking panoramic views of Windermere, Grasmere and Rydal Water from the summit.

The cottage is in an amazing location ,its so peaceful . It was very clean and was the perfect base to explore the surrounding area. We would definitely stay there again if we were coming up to the area.
