Bring together friends and family for a holiday to remember in this magnificent, pet-friendly retreat in the Cairngorms National Park. The property sleeps six guests and one furry friend and boasts a large, enclosed garden with stunning views. The surrounding area is a haven for dog walkers with a myriad of tracks and trails through ancient woodland and across dramatic mountains. The vibrant village of Tomintoul is 1.5 miles away and you’ll also be within easy reach of the tourist town of Aviemore (28 miles).

The elegant holiday home tastefully combines rugged Highland beauty with contemporary, luxurious style. The paintwork reflects the surrounding, natural landscape and little pops of colour have been added through the accessories and soft furnishings. After a day of adventure with your waggy-tailed friend, return to your cosy cottage, sink into one of the plump sofas and watch the Smart TV whilst you all warm your toes and paws by the wood burner. The country-style kitchen has ample space for the dog bed, as well as all the equipment needed for a self-catering break. At dinner time, gather in the light-filled dining area to share a delicious feast whilst admiring the views of the garden. Completing the ground floor is a king-size bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The remaining bedrooms are upstairs and have both been decorated in calming, natural tones. A refreshing shower room rounds off this floor. Outside, listen to the sound of the nearby river in the enclosed garden as you sip a morning coffee or tuck into an al fresco supper. The garden has a sunny patio with outdoor furniture and a large lawn where Fido can burn off steam. Private parking is available for up to four cars.

Tomintoul is a picturesque village with a good selection of local shops and independent eateries, many of which welcome four-pawed visitors. The village sits within the Glenlivet Estate, where you can sniff and explore the waymarked walking trails through the glens, woods and heather-clad hills.
