Two grand sitting rooms can be found on the ground floor of this gorgeous property, individually styled to make them suitable for various occasions. One is decorated in cool, calming tones which reflect the rugged natural surroundings, whilst the other pulls contrasting pastel colours together in a quirky style. The social hub of the house is certainly the kitchen which oozes elegance. Here guests can gather around the kitchen island, help out with the catering on the spacious countertops or sit down to dine at the informal ten-seater table. In addition, there is a formal dining area with seating for up to eighteen, traditionally styled with bold decor which makes for a fantastic entertaining space. Before dinner, the quaint bar area also makes for a lovely reception area. All nine of the generously sized bedrooms are found on the upper floors and offer variety in the sleeping arrangements including three super-king-size beds and one king-size bed decorated in a sleek country style. Another king-size bed is available to be made up as a twin on request alongside a further two standard twin bedrooms, ideal for children. Completing the rooms are two double rooms. A total of five rooms have the benefit of luxe en-suite bathrooms, all with bathtubs for long soaks in the evening. At the back of the house is an enclosed garden alongside kennels where required so that you can make the most of the sunshine. What’s more, guests are welcome to explore the wider grounds of the estate which a myriad of enticing trails found metres from your doorstep.
Located close to the Ailnack Gorge (1 mile), the largest glacial meltwater channel in Scotland, you’ll be in a prime position to let your dog lead the way in an exploration of the area. Keep your eyes peeled for the red deer, red squirrel and mountain hares which inhabit the local area and be sure to capture a photo of paws on the ground in one of the most photogenic spots in the local area to remember your trip by.
