This dog-friendly home, located in the serene outskirts of Amroth, makes a wonderful base for a romantic Pembrokeshire holiday with your wet-nosed chums in tow. Previously a bustling dairy farm, the site now offers a tranquil haven for up to two humans and three canines, offering breathtaking views of the lush Pembrokeshire countryside. You’ll be just 4 miles from Amroth and 4.5 miles from the coast where you can join the Pembrokeshire Coast Path for tail-waggingly good walks.
This cosy dwelling has a furnished courtyard where dogs can roam safely as you prepare meals and hot drinks in the modern kitchen. Inside, a colour scheme of red, white and grey creates a cheerful look. The open-plan living area is bathed in natural sunlight, making it a lovely spot for relaxing with your pet. Comfy leather armchairs are all ready to be lounged on while the dogs sprawl out on the carpet below and the Smart TV plays your favourite shows. The kitchen space is well equipped with all you need to whip up romantic meals for two, to be enjoyed at the cute, circular dining table nearby. When day turns to night, retire to the delightful super-king-size bedroom and feel rejuvenated in its en-suite shower room.
At Amroth, you’ll find dog-friendly pubs, cafes, ice cream and a lovely, sandy beach that’s excellent for games (some dog restrictions in summer). For restriction-free dog adventures, head a little further along the coast to reach Telpyn Beach (5 miles), which is dog-friendly all year round. The coastal resort of Tenby (11.5 miles) is a wonderful option for a day trip, and in the summer, you can board a boat towards Caldey Island, a fascinating location home to Cistercian monks. Pembroke (16.5 miles) is another great option.
