Set down a tranquil farm lane in the rural hamlet of Red Roses, this cosy cottage is perfect for a couples’ escape or a solo adventure with man’s best friend by your side. Providing flexible accommodation for two guests and three beloved pups, this tranquil retreat is one of a handful of holiday cottages on a former dairy farm. Surrounded by peaceful countryside with the magical Pembrokeshire coast just 4.5 miles away, this is heaven for humans and canines alike.

The middle of three cottages, this delightful abode has been lovingly converted from a former milking parlour. Laid out over a single storey, its light and airy interior has been designed with guests’ comfort in mind. Enjoy quality time with your loved one in the open-plan living area, rustling up meals for two and some tasty titbits for the pups in the chic, contemporary kitchen. Dine inside or out, with a dining table in the lounge and a bistro table in your private, enclosed patio looking over farmland. Then when night falls, get cosy under the covers of your super-king-size bed, which can be made up as a twin on request. A contemporary en-suite shower room completes the accommodation.

Leave no stick unfetched on morning walkies around the local bridle paths and farm lanes. Or pack up the frisbee and head to the coast, to scamper on golden sands and explore the petrified forest at Amroth (which has seasonal dog restrictions on some zones of the beach). From here, you can walk part of the long-distance Pembrokeshire Coast Path or hop in your car to discover to the famous walled town of Tenby (11.5 miles) for more beach antics or a boat trip to nearby Caldey Island.

  • 1 bedroom – super-king-size zip-and-link (can be made into twins on request)
  • 1 bathroom - en-suite shower room with WC
  • Electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge with icebox, microwave
  • Shared utility room on site with washing machine, drier and sink
  • Travel cot and highchair available on request
  • Smart TV in the lounge
  • Patio area to front with bistro table
  • Enclosed paddock available to use for dog walking
  • Ample off-road parking available
  • Beach, shop and pubs 3.6 miles
  • Please note, access to the property is via a stone farm track
  • Owner may accept more dogs on request
  • Located on a small farm with goats and chickens
  • Fern Cottage can be booked together with Lavender Cottage, Stable Cottage, Rose Cottage, Meadow View and Bluebell Cottage to accommodate up to 16 guests

What a cracking place to stay. Its away from the hustle and bustle of the seaside towns but only a few minutes away from them. The owners were a joy to speak to. Very comfortable large bed, all the equipment you could need in the kitchen. Pub within walking distance and plenty of space to exercise dogs.
