Located right by Whitstable’s mile-long beach, this elegant seaside property is perfect for large families and groups of friends looking to escape to the coast. Bring your two small canine companions and enjoy long coastal walks and exciting water sports, not to mention trying out all kinds of delicious treats in the quirky fishing town’s renowned pubs and restaurants.

A fresh, coastal theme makes this appealing property a restful place in which to kick back and relax. It’s set over three storeys, with the kitchen/diner on the ground floor - a handsome room with all the equipment you’ll need for preparing holiday meals. A dining table with benches provides space for hearty breakfasts and lingering suppers. One of the four bedrooms is on this level, with a day bed and pull-out trundle beneath. A Smart TV makes this a space where, alternatively, one or two people could retreat for some quiet time. There’s a WC on this level, too. The lounge is on the first floor - a comfortable space with partial sea views, soft seating and a Smart TV - as well as a double bedroom and a family bathroom. On the second floor you’ll find the second double bedroom, a twin with sea views (both with sloping ceilings that are low in places), and a family shower room. For fresh air and outside space, you can access a small balcony through the patio doors in the lounge, or enjoy the courtyard garden, where there’s seating and a BBQ.

The cottage is surrounded by places to eat, and you’ll want to try some of Whitstable’s famous oysters while you’re in town. Take your furry friends for a run on the sand – West Beach is dog-friendly all year round, as is Seasalter Beach, only a mile along the coast.

  • 4 bedrooms – 2 doubles, 1 twin, and 1 single with a pull-out bed for an additional child
  • 2 bathrooms - 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC, 1 shower room, and 1 separate WC
  • Electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, and washing machine
  • Smart TV in the lounge and ground floor bedroom
  • Highchair, travel cot, and stair gate available on request
  • Courtyard garden with patio seating and charcoal BBQ
  • Private parking for 1 car
  • Beach, pubs, restaurants, and shops within 50m
  • Please note: Only 2 small dogs will be accepted
  • Sleeps 7 + 1 (pull-out bed in single bedroom for an additional child)
  • Arrival: 15:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00
  • 2 dogs allowed. Additional charges may apply

This is a lovely house, cosy and snug, in a fabulous location right by the beach. It was a most kind and thoughtful idea to leave a bottle of Bucks Fizz and the shortbread biscuits for us. Thank you!

We had a lovely 2 nights at Serenity in a fantastic location . So easy to wander 5 minutes to explore Whitstable where there are so many lovely shops, cafes and restaurants. House had everything we needed and the e kitchen had a good supply of crockery, cutlery and cooking items. Very nice bed linen and towels .

Fantastically located on the beach but with the added bonus of a private garden in which we were able to store the kayak and eat our meals. Great location and the welcome items (wine, milk, juice, tea and coffee) were most appreciated, thank you. The accommodation is airy and bright. The internal decor and carpets are somewhat tired and clearly well used. Perfect location. Close to beach, pubs, restaurants and high street. Just a stroll along the front. The house is comfortable and well equipped Loved sitting in the garden in glorious sunshine or watching the sea from the sitting room window. The house would feel cramped for seven but was ideal for our family of 4. The dedicated parRead moreking space was not fun for a nervous driver with a hired SUV. Its very, very tight. Cause of much anxiety. Getting the car in and out was a trial. We would definitely return to this cottage and enjoyed our stay. Hide

A great location to get straight onto the beach and see a marvellous sunset. Kitchen might feel a little cramped if 7 people were there but we ate out at the many superb restaurants around the town and didnt have a problem. Samphire, the Lazy Lobster, Whitstable Oyster Company all amazingly good. Please Sir great for takeaway burger and Ossies fishRead more and chips also good and Smack Inn and Old Neptune great at lunchtimes. Windy Corner Cafe really friendly. Parking space was fine for my Volvo EV30 which is suv sized but a little tight getting into it. Osprey high speed charger was useful but sort of hidden away behind The Marine Hotel in Tankerton so finding it wasnt that easy. Easy walk into town. Everywhere is really dog friendly. Hide

Nicely located property, short walk to town centre and harbour lots of places to eat and plenty of pubs. The property itself is comfortable clean and well equipped. Allocated parking for 1 car only, which is tight if you have an suv or a family sized car so be aware.

The location and views of this property were excellent and leads directly on to the beach aswell as being central for centre of Whistable. A parking space is very useful. Storage for food etc us an issue especially for a family. T he double beds were unfortunately not comfortable. Having out door space was very useful
