Situated halfway along St Ives Bay, with Harbour Sands to the north and Porthminster Beach to the south, this gorgeous property is ideal for families or couples and two favourite four-legged friends looking for a restful holiday. A perfect base from which to explore this picturesque part of West Cornwall. The property is just half a mile from the town''s other beaches; Bamaluz (where there are no seasonal restrictions for your pup), Porthgwidden and Porthmeor, both of which have seasonal restrictions for dogs.

A characterful ground floor property with bold colours and vibrant energy. The eye-catching lounge features an inglenook fireplace, stone floors, ceiling beams and plenty of comfortable seating where you can sit back, unwind and chat about the day’s adventures. There is plenty of space for your hounds to sit and snooze while you watch a movie on the Smart TV. A step leads down to the kitchen/diner which is equipped with all the appliances you need and has a lovely dining space to eat together. As you explore this quirky and beautifully reimagined property further, you will find two double bedrooms: one with an en-suite shower room and TV. A family shower room with WC completes this delightful property. Outside, there are two seating areas to enjoy in fine weather: the small courtyard and the orangery.

Walkers will love having access to the South West Coast Path. For a short walk you can head to Clodgy Point (1 mile) and for a day at the seaside, top dogs will lead the way to the sandy beach of Porthkidney (3 miles) with space to run around and splash in the sea for hours. If you fancy a day out in Penzance (8 miles), be sure to pop into Trengwainton Garden (9.5 miles), which boasts award-winning magnolias and rhododendrons and has a winding woodland path overlooking the sea across to Mount''s Bay. A day at the Cornish Seal Sanctuary (20 miles) will please everyone. Here you can meet the seals and learn more about the sea lions and penguins before taking a walk through the woods.

Amazing property, one of the most eclectic we have stayed in. A lot of thought has gone into designing and furnishing the property which makes it a very enjoyable property to stay at. Bright and airy, very clean, spacious bathrooms and a real plus having the outside space. The 2 bedrooms are at opposite ends of the property so very private. The seRead morea front and beach are literally a short distance down the road but the house is in s quiet area away from all the hustle and bustle. We would definitely recommend and definitely stay again although I had a quick look around the property upstairs and think that will be our next property, equally as amazing with fantastic views Hide

Our 2nd stay at Tremayne and we absolutely love it. So well equipped. Clean comfortable and interesting. A place to remember full of lovely things Location is great and dog friendly. Wouldnt stay anywhere else now

This is a beautiful property. Its really spacious and decorated beautifully. It felt so homely. It is in a great location to pop out to the shops or walk along the harbour.

This is a great holiday property and we would definitely consider staying here again. There were many great features and nice furniture, as well as all the modern conveniences and a TV in each room. The property is in a great location and very near to the town centre and the beach. It is certainly one of the better holiday cottages we have stayed iRead moren, and we would highly recommend it for a holiday home. Hide

Beautifully decorated and very comfortable accommodation. Particularly suited our needs as on one level (bar couple of places with single step up/down) and centrally located - 5 minute relatively flat walk to Fore Street, the harbour & Porthminster Beach. Nice feature is 2 bedrooms spaced apart which gives high degree privacy. Definitely recommend.Read more Hide

Lovely property in a great location. But its not cheap, so we would expect the odour issue to be fixed and we have mentioned it before. It may affect us booking Tremayne in the future

The street was quiet, no fighting seagulls or pub traffic. The property is beautifully done, I had goosebumps walking in. The layout works well. Lots of room for bags and coats in the hall without blocking the entrance, and the bedrooms are separated by the living room and kitchen allowing plenty of privacy for each party. Showers were strong and wRead moreell supplied with a large hot tank. The small courtyard gets plenty of sun and as we had dogs with us it was a useful wee place if they needed, equipped with a hose and good drain. However being so close to the beaches the dogs didn't need to use it. TV was smart and internet provision was good. We had four adults, one child and 2 dogs and never at any point felt lacking in space. We even had two friends and another dog visit for a meal, and there was still plenty of room. Beds were comfortable, sofas too. No complaints, loved every day of our holiday. Thank you very much. We will book again. Hide
