Take two lucky pups to this stylish apartment in St Ives, perfect for couples or a family with young children looking for a quiet setting to enjoy a seaside holiday. Enjoy plenty on a walk around the town’s cobbled streets with fisherman’s cottages and independent shops. Although there are timed restrictions on most beaches between May and September, the early mornings and evenings are unrestricted for dogs and are a less crowded time to enjoy the beach.

This is an attractive ground-floor property with a wonderful attention to detail that creates a unique and homely feel from the moment you step inside. Three external steps lead to the front door and into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is the heart of the home. This area blends contemporary style with traditional touches, featuring a bright sofa in the bay window, a rustic dining table, a TV on an original stone wall, and a corner-fitted kitchen next to a stained-glass window. Your pups will soon find where they want to snooze while you can relive the day’s adventures. A door leads into the elegant bedroom with a double bed, children’s bunk beds fitted in an alcove, and a TV. Next door is an en-suite shower room. Courtyard at the front of the property with a table and chairs and Trewyn Gardens are less than 300 metres away.

Let your pup sniff the way to Bamaluz Beach (0.5 miles), which welcomes paw prints with no restrictions and has rock pools, a sandy beach and crystal-clear water to explore. The South West Coast Path is accessible from St Ives, and the 6.5-mile linear walk along cliff tops and past dazzling coves to Zennor is well worth it. Alternatively, head to Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens (7 miles), which is in a breathtaking setting within a sheltered valley that overlooks St Michael’s Mount. The gardens will set tails wagging as your hounds explore the garden and contemporary artwork with you.

This lovely holiday apartment is perfect! Its ideally placed in the centre of St Ives in a quiet road which is walkable to all the shops, beaches and restaurants. It is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean.

I had such a lovely stay, the home was beautiful and comfortable, and in a perfect location! Extra special mention for some things not often found in holiday homes - I really appreciated quality cookware and sharp knives! A lot of attention has gone into making this a lovely and creative place to stay.

Just came home from a weeks stay.What a beautiful little cottage it was.We felt right at home as soon as we walked into the property.Its so close to everything too so we didnt need to use our car for the week.We didnt end up taking our dog in the end but you would never know pets had been there previously as it was so clean.What a truly beautiful tRead moreown and cottage.We are looking at booking again for next year as we loved it so much. Lovely cottage. Perfect location. We were there before the summer holiday rush, which was a relief. Great place to spend a week away. You can hear the breaking of the waves from the cottage. Very peaceful.
