This gorgeous property, situated in the Suffolk countryside just 1 mile from a popular dog-friendly vineyard, is the perfect romantic retreat for a couple that couldn’t bear to leave their pups behind. Go for walkies around the farm, stopping at picnic benches, pond areas and the on-site arboretum for a true sense of tranquillity.
As you step into the property, you’re welcomed by bright and airy open-plan interiors. Wooden beams, vaulted ceilings and pine doors and furniture create a cosy atmosphere for relaxing in. Snuggle up together on the sofa and watch TV, the pups snoozing by your feet, or cook up hearty meals in the compact kitchen and dine at the table that sits in a sunny spot. On warmer days, take your dinner out to the shared courtyard to dine alfresco. Each cottage has privacy marked out by a trellis and carefully-placed planters with vibrant flowers to allow you your own space. The bedroom is decorated with peaceful blue tones to help you drift off to sleep, with an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Head off to popular seaside resort Southwold (11 miles) where your canine companions can unleash it all on The Denes Beach whatever the time of year. Many pubs, shops and cafes love you to bring your pups too. The National Trust’s Dunwich Heath (13 miles) is ideal for bracing walks, while Halesworth (2.5 miles) is ideal for an afternoon wander around the shops and eateries. Framlingham Castle (14 miles) is well worth a visit for its wall walk where you’ll experience amazing views of the surrounding countryside. With Fly Fishing at Willow Lakes and Course Fishing at Halesworth Lakes, the area is an Anglers dream.
