A beautiful country cottage surrounded by lush rolling hills and serene Cornish countryside; this elegant barn conversion is ideal for adventurous families and couples exploring Mid Cornwall with their waggy-tailed companion. This stylish property is brimming with character and boasts high vaulted ceilings, rustic oak latch doors, and light-dappled social spaces. Brush off sandy paws at the entrance and step into the open plan heart of the home then kick up weary legs on the comfortable sofa and sneak a post-adventure snooze with Fido curled at your feet. Fire up the Bluetooth speaker and potter in the compact shaker kitchen beneath the impressive, beamed ceiling, then gather the pack for a well-earned feast at the dining table. Scoop up your snoozy pup for some fluffy cuddles and a family film on the Smart TV, then retreat to the sleeping areas consisting of an en-suite king-size room and an en-suite, adaptable twin/king-size. Immaculate presentation of the cottages and gardens, inland so not good for those not comfortable driving the tight narrow Cornish lanes .30 minutes to nearest beaches and supermarkets. Lovely views and hosts. Nothing there for children that like to play and steep hill walking to cottage. Enjoyed the stay but would just say read and research the arRead moreea properly before booking to make sure it's right for your party traveling. Hide

We had a lovely stay at Penrose Burden (Goosehill Cottage). Ian and Jane are the perfect hosts - we appreciated the lovely welcome goodies. The cottage is so comfortable, well furnished and maintained to the highest standard. There is a good enclosed garden for dogs, and the provision of towels and throws for the dogs was welcome. The cottaRead morege is situated in a great area for exploring the coast from Padstow to Tintagel and beyond, with some fabulous coastal walks nearby. It is in a very peaceful location with beautiful views across the Camel Valley. We will definitely return! Hide

We loved these beautiful old Cornish buildings with modern interiors. The king sized beds and large comfortable sofa made sure that we were comfortable day and night. The beautiful setting in the Camel valley with amazing views made everything perfect. Local shops within a mile or two supplied our daily needs. Nearby moorland walks and 30 minutesRead more drive from some stunning, dog friendly beaches and beautiful Cornish towns were the icing on the cake. Hide

We had a wonderful stay in Goosehill. The cottage itself is clean and very well appointed while the location is perfect - within 20 minutes drive of numerous amenities and attractions yet remote enough to feel like a secluded escape. The countryside around the property is absolutely beautiful, as is the setting itself, while Jane and Ian were frienRead moredly, attentive and generous hosts. We very much enjoyed our time here and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone considering a stay in the area. Hide
